im back to update!

have been busy with school.. really...
every morning i drag to wake up.. wishing that i can just continue to sleep and skip lesson
of course i didn't la, i know my limits. haha
everyday routine is like so same..
sch ut fyp sch ut fyp sch ut fyp ...

looking back, it's already year 3, my final year in poly. gosh woo i survived in RP!
haha it's really by the grace of God!
anyway im really glad that this year module is much alright compared to last year or should i say last semester, becos' i struggled a lot with those biology stuff.

many ppl told me they regreted choosing biotech, actually i didn't really regret..
bcos i really like science, just that im not expose to biology during sec sch days so it's kind of hard for me to catch up during year 2.
biotech is definitely interesting but of course it is difficult! but nth is easy in this world.
1 and 1/2 sem to go!

i don't really looking forward to graduation frankly speaking..
bcos that time i will have lots to think about..
like should i go uni (if my result gd) or work?
if go university, continue biotech or?
if work, work for passion or money?
it's all so contradicting... HAHA!

Ok tell your something dumb, ahh it kind of pissed me off today bcos im REALLY tired and this kind of thing still happen.

incident #1
my mum tot she lost her keys so she brought new lock for our house and today after sch she told me to go get the new keys from her, so i did.

when i got home, the keys couldn't unlock the lock, i tot maybe i didn't put it properly, i tried several times but couldn't work still! i'm really !@#$% that time bcos im really tired from school, the lesson is so boring today and natasha (my fac) is not here, i dun understand what the relief fac is talking. and with my big and heavy bag, im even more tired. i have to go back to my mum's place to take the keys is like i just came back from there, i feel so !@#$% like why this happen.

but in the end, mum's boss daugther came over and pass me keys instead, thanks so much!

and when i was waiting for her to come, there's a guy who came and asked like anyone home and whose the owner, i told him i am and he must be thinking if you are then why are you standing outside?

he just came to asked to change the rubbish bin thingy.. i think my face was so black that time that i scared him off, LOL i didn't do it on purpose, he came at the wrong time! HAHA!

incident #2

as some of u know my laptop is infected with virus but i'm not sure whether it's the virus which causes problems to my laptop and jasmine ask me to go safe mode and scan.

but my safe mode got nothing! not even like the windows bar.. so in the end i still have to reformat. my brother help me to reformat, so kind of him! haha!

but cos his xp professional cd is in office so the one that fujitsu provided is xp home, so i still have go to IT helpdesk and upgrade to xp professional and just well as join domain and stuff.
and when i got it back, everything was like in good condition, the person helped me install everything :)

but i duno why when i reached home the wireless can't be connected :( is like after the lock thing and this still happen! i tried several times by restarting the router/modem/my laptop but can't work, i tried until i fall asleep on my bed. then when my bro came home and help me, it is connected, whatever can, my lappie likes my brother huh. :(

ok, enough of stories!

oh ya, as mention in previous post, i'm into bento lately! hehe new found hobbies..

i was looking through ebay that time when i wanted to search for a bento box, out of sooooo many cute, cheap, expensive, nice bento boxes, i found this elmo bento box the most attractive to me!

im still thinking whether to buy it bcos plus shipping is around S$25 which is quite a lot. but it is really niceeeeeeeee!!! tell me whether i should buy? seriously i really quite liked it! below are some photos ^^





went to daiso on tuesday with agnes.
so nice of her to accompany me, i love you!
haha i love going out with her bcos there's so much fun and we enjoyed each other presence. :)
some of the stuffs i brought for bento-ing! yay!!
and most of the stuff are found on ebay but sooooo much overpriced can!!
daiso only $2, haha one of the reason why i like shopping there. :D
i also brought many other stuffs like chopsticks, egg mould, onigiri mould, sushi mat, egg frying pan, cookies cutter and some other stuff, i can't remember, more shopping to come! :D new tag, bento!

how i wish i can make all this kawaii bentos! i'm sure it taste good too.

i just log into livejournal and happen to see a bento community being highlight in the livejournal homepage. so i went to take i look, cos most of you know i like cooking.. so no harm looking.

it's just a random post again. yup.


i was shocked when i saw the "cut" on my hand when i woke up from my sleep. haha don't worry i didn't try to kill myself or torture myself. i'm not so dumb. anyway it's really stupid to do that. it's not a cut, i think i accidentally scratch my wounds/scars that causes it to bleed. surprisingly it bleed in a very nice manner rite. straight one. haha.

hello im back. quite some time never update. is gonna put a photo post again. are you happy?

last week during holidays, on thur went out with huixin and fang and both of them are so before that i went to isetan to get some stuff that i needed to make lunch for mum.

i was hungry cos i have not eat anything, so i went to the bakery at basement 1. the jap bakery. the bread there all very nice de.

i was shopping around in the supermarket while waiting for the 2 girls. guess what is that below?


i still found many interesting stuff and feeling buying all the jap product home. haha if i got the $, i think i will go there once a month to buy things. =D some of the price are ok some of cos are ex cos they are imported from japan. i saw jap maggie mee, it cost nearly S$9 okie!! i can buy 2 korean kimichi noodle, 5 normal package maggie mee. =.= anyway i brought tempura flour, nori seaweed and tonkatsu sauce. nth special so never put photo. haha.

i make kakiage (fried veggie) and unagi rice on friday. =D mum said not bad weeeeeee.

i didn't took photo of unagi rice because it is just the unagi on the rice, i just have to cook the rice and cooked the unagi. haha nth special too.

so this is what i have make =D


anyway this this the recipe for kakiage. anything not sure can ask me ya.

ingredients:

• vegetables (carrot, onion, long bean, brinjal) you can add other veg if you want can try mushroom =D
• tempura flour 120g
• water 1/2 - 3/4 cup (rice cup) the water must be cold, i think is because so that batter would dried up easily. if you want the batter to be thick then don't put so much water, depends on personal liking.
• the batter makes 1 serving.
• tonkatsu sauce (optional)
  

another alternative to make the tempura batter is to use

• 1 egg
• 1 cup ice water
• 1 cup all purpose flour

but i have not tried before =X i found it on internet. haha. can try if you want budget. i brought the tempura flour at $3.90.

steps:

1. wash veggies
2. cut your veggies into the size you like
3. prepare the batter, sieve the flour -> mixed with the cold water
4. heat up the frying wok with oil
   
5. coat the veggie with the tempura batter.
   
6. fry the veggie until crispy / light goldenbrown
7. serve with the sauce you like.

eat eat eat.. that's what singaporeans do.. ate alot lately!! *faint*

just some photos of places i went to eat with cg and family. ^^

on friday, cg having outing, initially we were suppose to go to minds cafe but due to some problem, the place was fully pakced and we are not able to go there.. we went bugis instead, after eating, they wanted to eat dessert, so we went opposite of parco bugis, which is beach road there, a shop named "ah chiu dessert" erm it was packed with people, wondering whether it really taste that nice.. well we all went in..

this is what i order, mango milk and "or bi puay" $3.50 and $1.80 respectively.. erm. it was okok only nothing very surprising or very tasty. i would give 3/5 for it. maybe also because of the squeezy-ness we had, and i was feeling very humid.. haha.. the air con like spoiled lidat.. haha
but i think i will go back some time again..



sunday was usually a family day for me. in the evening, dad drove me,mum and grandparents to geylang lorong 9 to eat the same thing again. tian ji porridge and beef kway teow. muhaha, and some zhu zhao food. not nice quite nice really.. you all should go try, the barely water there is nice and cheap $1 only.

weeeeee~ im happy today. muahaha.

initially was not feeling very gd bcoz' i was down with flu.. kind of spoil my day. haha but nevertheless it was not that bad.

went b.s. in the evening..brought hot milo and panadol cold inside the room.. haha super nice can with the hot milo. then was sneezing all the way.. >.< then took quiz and walked down to cityhall to meet tricia. i didn't know riverwalk was so near to cityhall. haha.

den me, tri and pam went marina sq cos i wanted to get mp3!! finally!! im so happy can.. mama pay $$..wahaha. there's a special promotion.. creative zen v plus (pink) 2gb limited edition at $159 nia!!! but it's only mon-fri, 11-2pm special.. i going down tml. weee.. happy. initally wanted to get 2gb de nomal zen v plus @ $179. they are having small sale now. visit http://sg.creative.com for more details. haha.

helped mama buy water bottle le then we went makan sutra.. wow ate alot can me and pam share $12 de sambal stingray, still got carrot cake, and kaya fondue which tricia treat! thanks sweetie *hugz* eat until so full can.. want to "bao zha" lol. im really happy to spend time with tri and pammie k. i <3 you two okie.. hehe. next time go out again.. tri say go the swiss hotel there right..

got quite a few things to write down..

yesterday went queensway shopping centre & ikea with fang. it was fun! actually wanted to see whether got any ideal sport shoe for running but never saw any. saw lots of nike sneakers instead, wanna get em' soon.

yesterday i keep eating la,from morning till night..like eat non-stop. lol.

morning - sandwich
noon - cai fan
tea time - 2 proti prata
night - 2 chicken wings & potato salad *yum* thumbs up

anyway ikea restaurant food really quite nice. i wanna try the spaghetti and meatball next time i visit ikea =D

it fun visiting ikea with fang.. she do funny stuff la. like the kitchen utensils she say it's for removal of leg hair.. lmao. then we play around see many things we want to have in our house next time when we grow up. like the bed frame we both like ya.

i'm really these few days, got to spend time with my family and friends.. more to come la. wanna meet up tricia, pamela, t2avz's member, petir zoo member, pri sch mates, saw le dun run away ah. hee.

the last 2 days have been having dinner with family. went to lorong geylang to makan.
sunday was with papa, bro & grandparent. mama working so never come. initially is go bukit batok but the stall there close le so papa drove all the way to lorong geylang.
we ate 'tian ji zhou' forget what is that call in english. papa also ordered beef kuay tiao, fried oyster, you tiao & barley water. *yum*

i must really praise papa for being filial. he is really a good soon. though he's busy, he'll try bring his parents out for dinner. buy them fruits and sent over, and even oto massage item. i want to learn from him that, and when i grow up i will be filial.

then monday i pon school, no mood to go school la. slept at 5.30am. wahaha. then noon time went to bugis walk walk. then went OG, mama wanted to buy dress for CNY but dun have suitable one. anyway brought a pair of slippers, brown & orange. =D mama brought new pants.

then went bugis street, walk around nothing much..then wanted to buy huixin's bag, i saw a few shop selling, i walk into the 1st shop.. guess what?the person want cheat money lo $30. huixin brought at $15 nia. double leh. then after some walking finally saw the $15 bag shop. i brought the puma green one coz mama say other colour dun suit me. ya just want to say before you buy anything shop around, maybe there'll be cheaper ones. then we went seiyu while waiting for papa to bring us for dinner. i saw nike sling bag! i wanna buy! but not now. no money -.- my mizuno bag is dirty by my bro. must send it to wash le.

then we went lorong geyland for dinner again! this time ate steam fish and the salted fish meat patty. nice. but very full. papa ate 3 bowl of rice. but the bowl small. then we went to eat durian..lol fun sia. long time never together spend time lidat le. too bad bro got night class.

okie..today's lesson is kind of bored, that's why i'm here blogging. yesterday lesson was fun. i love culture and enterprise lesson. Natalie always shared about her experience and what she know. she is a nice person too! =)
